Source Unknown; 18 Feb 1954 Tehachapi Resident Passes Away Mrs. Glendora Parker, 82, of Tehachapi, came to the end of a full life on February 15, in that city. She had been a resident of Tehachapi for the past 12 years and came to California 47 years ago. Was a member of Tehachapi Grange Lodge No. 662, which she organized. A retired printer and was owner of the following newspapers: "Cairo Messenger", Cairo Illinois for. 4 years 1890 to 1893 "Bloomfield Indicator" Bloomfield Mo., 1893 to 1896. Was a licensed pharmacist in Missouri in 1904, admitted to Missouri State Bar 1904, assisted in opening a printing shop as first woman printer in San Francisco when she worked for Fluffel and Weaker Co. of that City. Funeral services were held a Tehachapi Grange Lodge, Feb. 17 1954 under direction of O'Donnell Funeral Home, Mojave. Interment was in the Eastside Cemetery at Tehachapi. Calif.
