Rosamond Resident Taken By Death
Sarah Elizabeth Payne, 75 born March. 23, 1875, in Gilmer, Texas, passed away in 
Bakersfield on July 25, 1950 at 7:55 a.m.
A resident of Rosamond for the past 13 years, she is survived by four sons, John, 
Lee, Albert and Joseph and three grandchildren all of Rosamond.
Funeral services were conducted by the O'Donnell Funeral Home, Mojave, will be 
held Saturday, July 29 at 2 p.m. at the Wayside Chapel, Rosamond followed by 
interment in the Mojave cemetery, with the Rev Virgil L. Lum, L.D.S. (Reorganized), 
Wilmington, Calif., officiating.
