Mr James H Peacock passed away early last Wednesday morning in a Bakersfield hospital 
which he had entered on the previous Monday evening. Mr. Peacock had long been a resident 
of the Valley, having resided alone on his homestead about 15 miles west of here (Rosamond) 
for about thirty years. He is survived by a half-brother, who resides in the east and is the only 
known relative. Interment took place in Bakersfield.
