Tehachapi Man Passes Away
Leslie Vernon Pippin, 60, and a resident of Tehachapi for 13 years passed away at 
the Tehachapi Hospital on January 6. He is survived by his wife, Maude, and two sons 
of Redondo Beach, Calif. Mr. Pippin was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 
Bakersfield Aerie.
Services were held at the Community Church in Tehachapi at 9 a.m. Tuesday, 
followed by services at 2 p.m. in Inglewood. Burial was at Inglewood with the 
O'Donnell Funeral Home in charge.
