Born March 8, 1938, Sonja Marie Westberg Potter passed away April 
17, 2003 in Bishop, California. She was born and raised in Mojave and 
attended local schools.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Jeannette 
Westberg; brother, John Westberg; and sister Lela Bailey.
Mrs. Potter is survived by her husband, Harry Potter, of Rosamond; 
daughter, Terri Valcoure of Solomon, Kansas; son, James Taylor of 
Chatsworth; sister, Jeanie McNulty of Fort Bragg; and brother Bob 
Westberg of Lancaster. She leaves five grandchildren, three great-
grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews, and countless 
friends.
