Source Unknown; Date Unknown Charles Dewane Pridgen was called home to be with our Precious Lord on May_16, 1998 in Littlerock, California. He was 36 years old. Charlie was born September 27, 1961 in Lancaster, California. He grew up in Mojave, graduating from Mojave High School in 1979. Charlie was in the construction field for 18 years. Charlie loved the country and the outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycling and the rodeo. Charlie was a cowboy at heart. He was a loving father, brother and son. Charlie will be sadly missed by those who knew him, and in our hearts forever. "Charlie, We Love You." Charlie was preceded in death by his grandfather Henry "Doc" Pridgen. Charlie is survived by wife Laurie, son Justin, daughter Jessica and stepchildren Tiffany and Andrew Lopez. Parents Charles and Carol Pridgen of Mojave, grandmother Pauline Lemons of Mojave, grandparents Susie and Mo Sanders of Buckley, Washington; sisters Kim Mullin of Ridgecrest, Shelly Shaup of Independence, Michele Brown of Lancaster and Suzanne Holowecky of Santa Clarita, Brother Jon Thompson of Georgia, and Sharon Ferryman of Tennessee as well as numerous loving aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins' and many friends. In lieu of flowers a trust fund has been established for Charlie's children, Justin and Jessica at Mojave Desert Bank, Mojave, Ca, account #041-113754. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 21, at the Mojave Community Congregational Church.
