All persons donating to this site retain the rights to their own work. Source Unknown; Date Unknown Ronald Jack Rabidoux of California City, CA passed away April 29, 2000 at the age of 54 years. He was born October 3, 1945 in Muskegon, Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Deborah; children Denise (Mike) Dumond, Donald, Daniel, Dominic, Tracy (John) Slaby, Robert; two sisters, Barbara (Gene) Hemmeke and Donna Rozneck; two brothers, James and George; six grandchildren; mother, Betty; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack, and his sister, Jackie. Ron served for 22 years in the US Air Force before retiring as a Senior Master Sergeant at Edwards Air Force Base. He served three tours of duty in Vietnam from 1964-1967, two of which he volunteered for. After his retirement from the Air Force in March 1986, he went to work for Northrup Grumman. He held the position of B2 Modification Manager at the Site 4 Plant in Palmdale, CA. He received his Associate of Arts degree from Cerro Coso Community College in December 1995, Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from Southern Illinois University in May 1996, and a Master of Business Administration from California State University in August 1999. He also received a Certificate of Industrial Engineering from Cal Tech in 1996. His interests included golf, racquetball, gold prospecting, travel and airplanes. As a devoted husband, loving father, and caring person he will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 2, 2000 with a memorial service following at Haley-Olsen Funeral Chapel located at 44802 North Date Avenue, Lancaster, CA with Pastor Ron Smith of Victory Baptist Church officiating. Ron will be laid to rest on Friday, May 5 at Graham Cemetery in Franklin, Pennsylvania. Ron fought a hard battle against cancer for two years.
