YOUNG MINISTER KILLED
Rev. Allen Rainey, 24, young minister of the Assembly of God Church in 
Mojave, was instantly killed in an automobile accident on October 3 while on a 
vacation trip to Sequoia National Park. Rev. Rainey was accompanied by his 
mother, brother and the latter's family.
Driving the car was his brother who is reported to have fallen asleep at the wheel
causing the car to plunge over an embankment. Also killed in the accident was his 
brother's wife.	
Funeral services were held in Delano last Thursday. Rev. Rainey and his 
assistant, Rev. Clarence Gould have been in Mojave for the past six. weeks and 
have been doing some wonderful work here. He will be greatly missed by all who 
knew him.
