Source Unknown; 6 Feb 2003 Samuel Jack Richardson, a 30-year resident of California City, passed away on February 2, 2003 at Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, California. Samuel was born on October 26, 1924 in Kansas. He was a truck driver. He served in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1945. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his sons, Greg of California City, Brent of Odessa, Texas; brother Virgil of Penryn, California; sisters Dena Page of San Bernardino, California, Lavon Miller of Bloomington, California, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on February 10, 2003, at 10 a.m. at Stickel Mortuary-Mojave.
