Riley Taken by Death People of Mojave who were the long time friends of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Henry Riley, were saddened by the news that Mr. Riley had passed away at the Veterans Hospital in Sawtelle, Calif. on Tuesday, February 14 at the age of 61 years and, nine months. Patrick Henry Riley was born June 3, 1888 in Macon; Missouri and spent his childhood and young manhood in the states of Missouri, Texas and Kansas. He served in the Field Artil1ery. branch of the United States Army during the first Wor1d,War,~ He was married, in Junction City, Kansas, August. 15, 1921 to Miss Ruby Mae Cain and to this union were born, two sons, Norman Henry and Robert Richard Riley. The family moved to Calfornia in 1924 and have resided in Mojave for the past 20 years. Mr. Riley is survived by his wife, Ruby Mae Riley, two sons and daughters in law Mr. and Mrs. Norman H. Riley and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Riley,a granddaughter, Caroline and a grandson, Norman P. and many other relatives and friends. Funerals services will be held at 2:30 .p.m. Friday, February 17 in the, Community Congregational Church with the Rev Selix officiating. O'Donne1l Funeral Home is in charge of funeral arrangements.
