Source Unknown; 5 Aug 2004 Patricia Anita Roberts, a resident of California City, California for 15 years, passed away on July 5, 2004, in California City. She was born on June 10, 1935 in Los Angeles, California. Patricia was in the ROTC, and worked as Supervisor at the El Segundo AFB Commissary. She was predeceased by her mother, Merlene Hughes and father Sam Montgomery in 1956, and by her son James Madison, Jr in 2004. Patricia is survived by her devoted, loving husband of nine years Gabriel Roberts, her daughter Vonzella Keith of Berkeley, California, her sister Ramona Ablaza-Belvin of California City, and her daughter-in-law Frankie Madison of Inglewood, California, as well as nine grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her Aunt Lurena Haywood, her cousin Evelyn Ross and other family members who loved her very much. Memorial services were held July 14, 2004 at the Stickel Mortuary in Mojave, California. Internment was at Mojave Cemetery on July 14, 2004. Arrangements by Stickel Mortuary-Mojave, California.
