She was born on December 24, 1946 in Delano, California and was a long-time resident of Lancaster. She had recently retired from Northrop-Grumman after a 22-year career. Sadie was a member of the Antelope Valley Quilters Guild and The Ladies of Courage Cancer Survivors. She was an avid collector of dolls and had a fierce love of chocolates. Sadie is survived by her loving husband, John Robinson, a counselor at Desert Jr./Sr. High School; her parents, Sado and Eiko Yonaki of Delano, CA; her brother and sister-in- law, Jim and Maria Yonaki of Lakewood, CA; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce and Aki Uyeda of Quartz Hill, CA, Marie and David Martinez of Bakersfield, CA, and Betty and Jose Jazmine of Orinda, CA. Since her cancer, she treated every day as a gift.. Sadie will always be remembered for her many talents, magnetic personality, her compassion for others and, most of all, her sense of humor.
