Source Unknown; 2 May 1957 Earl Rogers Passes Away Earl Rogers, 66, a well-known general contractor and operator of Rogers Trailer Park, passed away April 28, 1957 in Mojave Hospital. He was born on May 31, 1890 in Princeton, Minnesota and came to California in 1937. In 1951 he came to the desert on a contracting job and liking it, he decided to remain. He was a Mason and a past member of the Masonic Lodge at Onamina, Minnesota. Survivors include his wife, Ruth M. of Mojave, a sister, Mrs. Richard Bruehl of Detroit, a daughter, Mrs. Tony Actis, Mojave and a son, C. J. Rogers of Lancaster as well as five grandchildren. Memorial services were held Wednesday, May 1, at 2:00 p.m. in the Mumaw Funeral, Home Chapel in Lancaster, conducted by the Lancaster Masonic Lodge with interment in Joshua Memorial Park.
