Lee Ruth, a long-time Mojave resident, passed away on August 3, 2002, in Lancaster, 
California. He was born on January 9, 1938 in Evarts, Kentucky. Daughfus was employed 
as an analyst at California Portland Cement Company for 39 years and had served four 
years in the Unites States Air Force.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Deann Ruth of Mojave; sons Jerry Ruth of Mojave, 
Randy Ruth of Ridgecrest, California, daughter Katie Ruth of Mojave, and three 
grandchildren.
Services will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2002 at 11 a.m. at the Mojave First Baptist 
Church. Interment will be private.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made, in Daughfus Lee Ruth's 
memory, to the National Ataxia Foundation for Sporadic Research, 2600 Fernbrook Lane 
North, Suite 119, Plymouth, MN 55447.
