YOUTHS KILLED
Two Los Angeles youths, William S. Ryan, 16, of 547 N.: Spaulding Ave. and Charles Masconi, 
17, of 7867 Melrose Ave., were killed on Sunday near Lancaster when their automobile overturned 
on a curve, according to the California Highway Patrol. 
Officer R. H. Gilbraith said the car skidded 240 feet, then overturned several times, throwing 
both youths from the vehicle. The accident occurred three miles north of Lancaster.
