Edwards, CA resident, Helen J. Seamount, passed away on December 20, 2001 in 
Lancaster, CA. She was born on November 21, 1926 in Oakley, ID.
Helen had resided in North Edwards for the past 29 years and was a nurse and mother 
of four. She was a member of the Republican Party and NRA.
Helen was predeceased by her sister Oka Joyce Eames Hayward in 1993.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Sidney Seamount of North Edwards, sons, 
Charles Eames of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, Phillip James and Joseph David, both of 
North Edwards; daughter Patricia Clare of Tehachapi, CA; grandchildren, Charles 
Seamount of Rancho Palos Verdes, CA, John Williams Seamount of Sherman Oaks, CA, 
Jessica Cydney Seamount of Joliet, IL, Alexander James Seamount of North Edwards, 
Joshua David Seamount of Auburn, AL and Jennifer Marie Baker of Seoul, Korea.
Helen was a philosopher, scholar, poetess, artist, train enthusiast, gardener, animal lover, 
and a caring, generous mother and grandmother.
Memorial services will be held by her family on January 4, 2002, at 2 p.m., at Stickel 
Mortuary in Mojave, CA.
