Car Bus Crash Kills Sergeant
Instantly killed when his speeding automobile hit a bus broadside was, Tech Sgt. 
Robert L. Sheehan, 32. The accident happened at the intersection of Rosamond 
Blvd. and 120th Street shortly after midnight Tuesday; reports say the car rammed 
completely thru the bus, critically injuring the driver, A/3c Robert Blllings, 25.
Sheehan was given all available medical aid but died before reaching the Base 
Hospital. He is listed as the 7th fatality on the Edwards Air Force base this year.
Robert Blllings, A/3c, driver of the bus is in the hospital with serious injuries.
Sheehan is survived by his widow, Ruth Bell and two small children, Cathy Lee 
and Robert L. Jr. all residents of Wheery Housing.
