W. E. Bill Sitton, a 35 year resident of Lamont, CA passed away on October 13, 2001 in 
Bakersfield, CA. He was born in Comanche, OK on March 6, 1909 and was a retired oil 
field pumper.
He was predeceased by his wife of 66 years Louise Sitton in 1999.
Surviving him are sisters, Peable Rae of Indio, CA and Hattie Smith of Noble, OK; 
daughters, Joyce DiVecoli of San Diego, CA, Billie Ann Howard of Mojave, CA and 
Debby Ginn of Twain Hart, CA; 12 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held at Stickel Mortuary in Mojave, CA on Tuesday, October 16, 2001. 
Private internment was at East Kern Cemetery in Mojave, CA.
