Mrs Dorothy K Owens, 74, of Gardena passed away Feb. 15 in a Harbor City hospital. She 
was born Nov. 1 1909, in Missouri and had lived in Gardena for 34 years. She was 
employed at Sears Roebuck & Company as a head cashier for the past 34 years. She is 
survived by her son, Donald Riddle of Gardena; a brother, George Shanks of Colorado and 
a sister Jane Pool of Missouri. Graveside services will be held at Green Hills Memorial 
Park at 10 a.m. Monday Feb 20 under the direction of McMillan Mortuary.
