All persons donating to this site retain the rights to their own work. "Big Bear Grizzly" Thursday, September 8, 2005 Dewey Hill Sr., 90, passed Aug. 1, 2005. Born June 8, 1915, Bob first came to Big Bear in 1935, visited often here for many years before buying a vacation home in 1965, selling that, bought another in 1986 and sold it to buy another in 1991 on Country Club where his son Steven now resides. Raised in North Hollywood, Bob graduated from North Hollywood High, received his bachelor's degree in music from Chapman University and advance degrees from USC and UCLA. He was an educator in the Santa Monica School District, teaching Social Science and Driver Education for 35 years. Bob is survived by his wife of more than 64 years, Marion; their five children, Robert Jr. (Sandra), Carolyn (Harold) Green, Steven, Jennifer (Ron) Morita, and Dorothy (Jay) Peebles; 15 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; nephew William (Paula) Pedene and two great nephews. Private family graveside services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 10, 2005, at the Inglewood Park Cemetery, Inglewood,
