All persons donating to this site retain the rights to their own work. Daily Press, Wednesday, June 14, 2006 Thomas E. "Tommy" Johnson, 71, of Panama, Okla., passed away on June 8, 2006. Tommy was born on May 15, 1935, to Thomas J. and Evelyn K. (Keeth) Johnson in Panama, Okla. Tommy was a broiler plant operator at the Marine Corps Logistics Base. Tommy loved riding motorcycles, hunting and restoring old tractors. He is preceded in death by his parents. Tommy is survived by his wife, Sharon Johnson; daughter, Sissi Johnson of Olathe, Kansas; son and daughter-in-law, Thomas C. "Toby" and Tracy Johnson of Shady Point, Okla.; brother and sister- in-law, Jerry R. and Dawn Johnson of Bokoshe, Okla.; sister, Wreatha VanStockem of Arizona; three grandchildren, Taylor Johnson, Jarred Hall and Daniel Johnson; numerous other relatives and loved ones; and a host of beloved friends. Funeral services were held June 10, 2006, at Evans Chapel of Memories in Poteau, Okla. Interment followed the services in Shady Point Cemetery.
