"Big Bear Grizzly" Thursday, January 31, 2008 3:27 PM PST Larry Dee Lookinbee July 25, 1937 - Jan. 15, 2008 Jesus came and took Larry to his Eternal Home on Jan. 15, 2008. After one month of living with cancer, he moved peacefully from the loving embrace of his family and friends into the arms of his heavenly Father. He is survived by his mother, Bernice; stepfather, George; one stepsister; three daughters; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren and a host of friends and colleagues. Larry's life was filled with activity, purpose, and perpetual humor. Those of you who knew Larry, knew he loved a good laugh, good food, and good friends. Larry was a beloved son, proud father and even prouder grandfather, and will be missed by all who were blessed enough to have him in their lives. Larry made sure that those he loved and cared for knew it. The words that best describe his life are "He Loved Jesus and Everyone." In his memory, please tell someone TODAY that you love them. Services were held at 9 a.m., Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2008, in Rose Hills Memorial Park, located at 3888 Workman Mill Rd. Whittier, CA, Hillside Chapel Gate 17.
