MILLS-At La Jolla, Feb. 1, 1908. Mrs. Ellen F. Mills, widow of the late R.M. 
Mills and mother of Mrs. W.G. Hunton of Readfield, Me.; Anson P. Mills, and 
grandmother of Ellen Morrill Mills of La Jolla, a native of Maine, aged 78 
years.
     Friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the residence, 
Kennebec Lodge, La Jolla, at 11 o’clock a.m. tomorrow (Monday). Rev. J.L. 
Pearson officiating. Interment at Mt. Hope cemetery.

OLD RESIDENT PASSES AWAY
Mrs. R.M. Mills of La Jolla Answers Last Call, Funeral Will Occur Tomorrow
     On Feb. 1 La Jolla lost one of its oldest and most honored residents. 
Mrs. R.M. Mills, who had for a long time had been so ill that death came as a 
healing and painless sleep. Mrs. Mills, a native of Augusta, Me., was the 
daughter of ex-Governor Anson P. Morrill and niece of Hon. Lot M. Morrell. 
Besides a son, Anson P. Mills of La Jolla, she left a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth 
Hunton of Readfield, Me. Funeral service will be held at the residence, 
Kennebec Lodge, La Jolla, at 11 o’clock on Monday, the 3rd.
