Rites Slated for YC Native
Funeral services for Emerson Nall Hixson, 48, a native of Yuba City, will be 
conducted tomorrow at 10 a.m. at the McNary Funeral Home in Colusa. Burial will be 
at the Sutter Cemetery with Rev. Charles Van Leer of the Meridian Methodist Church 
officiating. Hixson died Friday in the Colusa Memorial Hospital following a short 
illness. He was the son of the late Mr and Mrs Ray Hixson of Yuba City. A retired 
Air Force major, he was a past commander of the Meridian American Legion and a 
member of the Elks Club in Florida. Survivors include a brother, Donald Hixson, of 
Salinas.
