Hixson: In Salinas, California, on Tuesday, September 3, 1968, Donald F. Hixson, 
Salinas; cousin of Mrs Lorena Orr , Yuba City; nephew of Mrs Pearl Clark, Meridian; 
Mrs Alice Brewer, Meridian; and Mrs Marjorie Bodley, Berkeley. A native of Meridian, 
Sutter Co., Calif. Aged 50 years. A member of the California Assn of Highway 
Patrolmen, First Methodist Church, Board of Directors Salvation Army, and a Veteran 
of World War II. Friends are invited to attend funeral services on Thursday at 10 a.m., 
Sept. 5, 1968 in the Struve & Laporte Funeral Chapel, cor. of Lincoln Ave and W. San 
Luis St. Rev. William C. Dyer, pastor of the Methodist Church will officiate with 
interment to follow in the Garden of Memories
