Dorothy Dean Huntington, 64, of Sutter died in Fremont Hospital last night 
following a long illness. 
Mrs Huntington was born in Sutter County and had lived here all her life. She was 
a member of the Yuba City Daughters of the Union Veterans of the Civil War and of 
the Women's Improvement Club of Sutter. She is survived by her husband, Warren L. 
Huntington of Sutter; a daughter, Miriam Fay Coon of Durham; her parents, Mr and 
Mrs Edward Dean of Yuba City; two brothers, Ralph Dean of Yuba City and Edward 
Dean of San Francisco; two sisters, Edwina Park of Los Angeles and Shirley 
Schnabel of Yuba City. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10 am at the 
Ullrey Memorial Chapel with Rev. George Green, pastor of the Sutter Community 
Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow at Sutter Cemetery.
